Adjustment in Bucket counts

Hi,

I an facing an issue in bucket count adjustments in fleet management.

Below is my test case:

1) Shipment created
2) Assigned equipment type and equipment to shipment.
3) I maintain 3 equipment buckets in locations (ON HAND, INTRANSIT, COMMITTED).
4) After equipment type assignment i could see there is a discreese in ON HAND bucket count and increase in COMMITTED bucket count.

After this i dont see any adjustments in bucket counts.
can someone please expalin how the bucket counts will adjusts in OTM. It would be very helpful if you provide me info like action in OTM and the adjustments in buckets.

Ship unit spec max weight and volume limit is not working for me

Ship unit created:
Ship unit type = "ON".
Max Length for ON mode: 4 FT
Max Width for ON mode: 3 FT
Max Height for ON mode: 2 FT
Max weight: 200 kg

Order release created with
configuration type: Ship Unit
Gross weight/ship unit = 500 KG
Gross Volume/Ship unit = 64 CFT
Length/Ship Unit = 4FT
Width/Ship Unit = 4FT
Height/Ship Unit = 4FT

Here system should show error while planning, but here shipment is getting build

I want to record details of cargo damage and loss when the order is delivered and POD signed. The information is captured by mobile APP?
How can I do in OTM?

For example,
1. five box is damaged and one box is lost.
2. 5 iphones in the box are lost.

Order event or Tracking event? Or other edi?

Fuel as a % of Total shipment cost

Hi All,

This is our current business logic :
Total Rate - ZAR10 000
Fuel Split - 20%

To us this means that 20% of the total rate is allocated for fuel,
therefore base = ZAR8000 and fuel = ZAR2000

At the end of a month we receive the % the fuel price has moved and to accommodate for this we need to increase the fuel portion of the rate and recalculate the fuel split as it will now be different

Please help with this setup ?

Hello,
We have the below scenario related to Province Code, need your thoughts on the below.

From Warehouse, we get a 3-digit Province Code that gets into OTM for Australia. But the native OTM accepts only 2-digit Province Code. Due to this adhoc timezones of Australia are being picked up.
For example, 'NS' is the OTM native Province Code for the Timezone: Australia/Sydney. But the Warehouse sends the Province Code as 'NSW'.

Plz share your thoughts and experience on:

Is there any solution from native OTM to handle the 3-letter Province Code? (like Country code having Country Code ID & Country Code 2)
Any other approach to handle this scenario for all the 3 digit Province Codes from various countries (if any)? (instead of putting the logic on integration etc)

Current OTM version: OTMv6.3.2

Unable to link shipments with Continues moves

Hi Folks,

We have scenario to link shipments with continues moves. But unable to acehive this and resulting different errors. for this scenario Ground schedule can be use ? please suggest your views.

Scenario:
A --> B: TL-LOADED-400KM 15th shipment created @ 4am, loaded truck exit from A @ 5pm on 15th.

B --> C: TL-EMPTY-200KM Loaded truck reached @ B @ 3pm on 16th, post unload the truck leave for C on 16th @ 10pm

C --> D: TL-LOADED-600KM Empty truck from B C reached at C @ 10am on 17th, after loading the truck leave for D @ 5pm on 17th itself.

D --> A: TL-EMPTY-175KM Loaded truck reached at D @ 7am on 19th. Post unloading the truck leave for A @ 7pm on 19th and reached at A on 20th 8am for another shipment.

Setup:

Planning parameter:

CM AUTO CREATE TRUE
CM MAX SEARCH DISTANCE 3,000.00 KM
CM MAX SEARCH DURATION 5D 0M

Rate offer:

While linking facing below errors:

1.Exception
Infeasible shipment pair. Earliest start time of 2nd shipment is after its latest allowable start time.

Hi Gurus,

I have a requirement to send notification to users whenever a Shipment event is entered on Shipment.
I figured out that I need to modify DefaultShipmentStatus.xsl to meet my requirement. I need to populate Order Release Refnums, Shipment Refnums and Involved parties. When Raw XML was verified, I could see only basic details related to ShipmentStatus. I tried creating new OUT xml profile(xpath works if I try for email tender) to populate required details and also tried with GLOG_NONE. But it was of no use.

Is that I cannot get required XML tags for ShipmentStatus or is there any workaround. Kindly help

Display Equipment on Carrier Portal

Hi All,

I am working on carrier portal and one requirement is to display all the trailers dropped by carrier in our locations. These trailers could be used by shipments or some could even be lying on the facility but not yet loaded or identified for which shipment these trailer will be used.

I can display trailer number which are used for shipment on carrier portal.
But I am struggling to displaying trailers which are not used.
Any ideas on it is really appreciated.

Regd release inbound XML

Hello All,

I have a release inbound XML in which we use int saved queries for shipfrom and shipto locations (to create locations on fly).

When we upload the release XML, release objects are getting created in system but we are not able to view object id in transmission. When we directly use locations in XML instead if int saved query, we are able to view object id in transmission.

Please let me know if any glog properties needs to be changed regd the same.

Would like to offer SPOT Bid tender to the best performer. I mean would like to give rating to the carriers. So based on rating of the carrier need to offer the shipment execution to the carrier. So we should not just offer the shipment execution to the carrier based on cheapest bid.

Please let me know how we can setup?

OTM 6.4 install failure

I am having problems trying to get a web and app install of OTM 6.4 to complete successfully. First time I tried there was an issue with the repository passwords and the install failed. I dropped the repository and deleted the domains from the user_project folders and deleted the OTM install directory.

I ran the install again after repository was created and the python scripts ran successfully. According to the glog.web log file it looks like the web startup failed due to the otm user already existing?

Which user is this error message referring to?

I am getting the feeling that otm 6.4 is not quite ready for release.

Hello,

Can any one suggest on the below requirement.

Customer will deliver different types of power cables by packing them in different sizes of wooden rollers.

For Example 6Core Cable of 20kms will be packed in 4 wooden roller of 5km each. And the same wooden roller will be carried on Equipment. Equipment can accept upto 4 wooden roller of that volume.

In the same case 6Core Cable of 20kms can be packed in 8 wooden roller of 2.5Km each. And the same wooden roller can be carried on the equipment. Equipment can be accommodate 8 wooden rollers of that volume.

So Now, how could we handle this in OTM.
Small suggestions please.
