How to change FROM email address

Hi All,

In my project, configured the SMTP settings and it is sending the correct email notifications based on the contact email address.
For all the Email notifications, the FROM address would be the same email address which is given to the "glog.workflow.notify.advisor.email" property.

When I do the SPOT BID tender also I am getting the email notifications.
But I observed that it is sending the emails with different email id. I mean the FROM email is different than the email id given in the "glog.workflow.notify.advisor.email" parameter.

How is it possible. Where else we can give the FROM email address.

Please guide me.

Hi All,

How To Access Standard Document Actions from View Only Screen Set/Manager Layout

In 6.3.6 I have a view only Trade Transaction Screen Set / Manager Layout configured. In the out of the box Trade Transaction Screen Set / Manager Layout (not View Only), there is a Documents Tab, and the Standard Documents actions are accessed by clicking on the Actions Icon. This accesses the Standard Document Actions which include Accept, Deny and Finalize Document.
In the View Only version of the Manager Layout, there is no documents tab, and I am unable to find where I can access the Standard Document Actions - they are not visible in the Manager Layout.
Is there a way to access the Standard Document Actions from a View Only Manger Layout? Thanks,TM

What skills you need to possess?
At least 7-10 Yrs of experience in application consulting with at least 2 years with OTM as core product
• Functional knowledge of OTM (Fleet Management & Operational Planning)
• Experience of working on at least 1 support engagement with primary role of debugging functional and technical issues in OTM
• Good Understanding of support and enhancement lifecycle processes and related documentation
• Ability to understand complex customizations with OTM application for debugging and testing
• Technical understanding of OTM architecture and customization deployment
• Flexibility to work on rotational shifts

Must be very good with SQL, PLSQL and other RICEF object
Experience on Multi-lingual application (specifically Arabic) will be an added advantage

Orders not creating multi-stop shipment

Hi,

I have two orders going from A -> B, A -> C...

1. When I run Create Buy Shipment -> Bulk Plan - Buy, it is creating two separate shipments, total cost is 256.80 USD.

2. When I run Create Buy Shipment -> Multi-Stop, it is creating a multi-stop shipments using same rates with cost of 203.64 USD.

I like OTM to create multistop shipments when I run the first option of bulk plan.
Any help/suggestion will be really appreciated.

Cloning OTM 6.3.4

Dear Friends,

Anyone knows how to clone OTM 6.3.4?

I found procedure on cloning OTM 6.2 here...

But I don't know if same approach applies to OTM 6.3.4.

We have 3 instances of OTM in AWS Cloud.

OTM Prod App - Server 1
OTM Prod Web& Reports - Server 2
OTM Prod DB - DB Server 1

OTM TEST App/Web - Server 4 at port 7778
OTM DEV App/Web - Server 4 at port 7777
OTM TEST DB - DB Server 2
OTM DEV DB - DB Server 2 (on same server)

What we need to do is clone OTM Prod App/Web/DB and replace OTM Dev with it.
For the DB we can already handle this. Maybe there's a faster way of cloning OTM 6.3.4 App/Web instances.

Appreciate any help you can share on this.

Tracking event report does not show child domain data content

We have a Report which is based on ie_shipmentstatus tracking event table.
We have a public domain and Child domain. If we run the report from child domain not able to see the public domain data.
What needs to be done to see the data from this table in child domain, if we run the report from child domain?

XML inserted via Direct XML integration not processing

Hi Gurus,

We have a integration which inserts XML into oTM using PKG_INTEGRATION_UTIL package. The XML gets processed in Dev,Test and UAT instance.But in production which is Clustered environment, XML is sitting in i_transmission with status as STAGED.

Is this happening because of Cluster environment? Any pointers will be really appreciated.

Is there a way wherein I can force OTM to execute XML in sequence. Say for a shipment , if there are 10 order releases. and I send 10 release XML to OTM, I want to force OTM to execute in sequence.

There is a requirement to update fuel surcharges (Rate Factors) automatically in OTM, directly from DOE website.
I have heard it is possible through Web scraping with HTTP. Can anyone suggest how to set it up in OTM?

BNG Creation for Invoice to include SCAC code in XID

Hi All,

We have requirement to have SCAC code in Invoice xid which we receive through Integration.
Invoice Xid has to be like SCACYYYYMMDD-0001, eg- RBTW20151205-0001.
I tried below but no luck.

Business Rule : {r*:id=1:xml=SERVPROV}{dddddddd:id=2}-{nnnn:contexts=1:start=1}
output : 20151203-0001

System is not able to find SCAC. I understand that I am missing the obvious thing here but could anyone please point out what ? Much appreciated.

Multistop rate where total cost is sum of stop based costs

Hello friends,



Our customer ships goods from their depots to their customers. The carrier charges a different rate in euro per ton for each region, which are circular rate bands around the depots. In case of a multi-stop, the total shipment cost should be the sum of the costs per stop.

Example:
- Order A: 10 ton to customer A in rate band X
- Order B: 5 ton to customer B in rate band Y
- Order C: 2 ton to customer C in rate band Y
- Rate band X: 10 euro/ton
- Rate band Y: 20 euro/ton
Costs:
- Order A: 10*10 = 100 euro
- Order B: 5*20 = 100 euro
- Order C: 2*20 = 40 euro
- Total shipment costs: 240 euro


How could this be set up in OTM?
