Defining regions with Postal Codes

Hi,

We have cities in certain countries that have postal codes with spaces. eg 123 45

We have created regions for this with Low range as 100 00 and high range as 199 99. the HNAME Component is defined in local domain (not PUBLIC) with 'LOCATION COLUMN NAME' of 'POSTAL_CODE', 'Start Offset' as '1' 'End Offset' as '6'.

We are using PC miler to get the distance and time and this works fine.

Rates are defined from 'LOCATION' to 'REGION'.

But when we bulk plan the shipment, it fails as OTM is not able to create shipment with the above set up of postal codes. When we remove spaces from postal codes from locations as well as from regions it is able to plan shipments. But the business does not want to remove spaces from postal codes of locations.

Please let me know with a solution for this.
