Location Asset inventory
Hi,
Can you plz help me on this issue
Location asset inventory bucket count increment and decrement is not happening automatically for equipment.
On hand bucket count is 5, after assignment Commited bucket count should be 1 and On Hand bucket count should be 4 automatically.
In 6.3.1 version I can see the changes in bucket count but there is no impact in version 6.3.6 or 6.3.4
I am not sure if there is any functionality changed with version upgradation.
Can you plz help me on this issue

Open my custom screen set
Hi All,
I have one strange requirement.
In the Order Release > Search Page > Advanced tab, when we click 'L' (list) link, by default OTM opening BUY SHIPMENT result page.
But as per my requirement, when we click 'l', it should open my custom BUY SHIPMENT screen set result page, where user can see only 4 field values.
Is it posible. Please let me know.

So I have developed the report for the same. I have provided SHIPMENT ID as a parameter to the report.
But when we click on the 'l' (list) link on the SHIPMENT ID on the report search page, it is opening all the shipments, for which the SECURE RESOURCES status value is other than ACCEPTED also.
But as per my requirement, when I click on the 'L', it should open the shipments which are having SECURE RESOURCES_ACCEPTED only.
How can I achieve this.

I am doing OTM and EBs integration, as of now below setups done
- Install and Configure oracle SOA suite
- Configure SOA suite to integrate with EBs
- Configure EBS profile options and other settings
- Copy domain from EBS to New domain
- Setting up an external system for the EBs
- Creating External Statuses for the EBs flow
- Editing the EBS automation agents.
Please let me know is their any setups pending from OTM, EBs and DBA side. if not what is the process for checking the connectivity between OTM and EBS.

EDI 315 into OTM - Ocean carriers don't use OTM Shipment ID
Hi, we currently have several EDI315 integrations going with ocean carriers who can forward 315 event updates into OTM just fine so long as they know the OTM shipment ID. We use a number of different freight forwarders and booking agents to book the Ocean shipments, so controlling the communication of the OTM shipment ID number from us to the FF to the Ocean carrier and from the Ocean carrier back into OTM (315) IS possible, but once one of the folks in that process moves on to a new role, the new user (be it at either the Ocean carrier or Freight Forwarder location) won't know the importance of the OTM shipment Id and the inbound 315s will fail.
Does anyone have a more robust system-controlled solution for this which isn't as reliant on users?

Order cannot process with City Ititnerary
Hi Everyone,
I created an Itinerary with City as Source Geo Hierarchy but Order cannot be Planned and giving error "No itineraries for geography".
I created Itinerary between Melbourne - Sydney. Do I need to do any other setup for this to work. Please help.

change_flight menu action fails with null pointer exception
Hi everybody,
we are facing issues with null pointer exceptions as a result of change_flight menu action execution.
We have had this thrice now.
Two times out of this, we most likely had issues with incorrectly performed bounces of OTM web and app server.
The third time, this cause can be disregarded with a high possibility.
A bounce of web and app server resolves the issue. Still we have not come close to identifying the actual reason for it.
The question is if anybody has come across this kind of error before and has an idea how to resolve it?
We are running on OTM 6.2.9.

Shipment Operational Planning
Hi,
I have a requirement for having Multiple Resource Type for appoints, separate for Inbound and Outbound. I am able to add them in Location Resource. But when I plan the shipment none of the inbound one get any appointment. If I check the logs it says the Outbound slot is Primary while Inbound is Secondary, and further logs show that it tries to find slot from Primary but not from Secondary Resource type.
Is there a way or some setup required for shipments to be planned to both the slots?
Your help is much appreciated.

Creation of SOAP Wrapper

We have developed planned shipment interface & it is working properly.
Now our requirement is basically to create a SOAP Wrapper with Authentication Credential details around OTM Outbound XML before invoking target web service.
Can anyone please suggest me how to add SOAP wrapper in external system & which external system will be preferable i.e. HTTP, Webservice,etc

Data Mapping
Hi Gurus,
I am integrating EBS with OTM, in OTM i have configured all the setups in OTM.
Here how the data will come to EBS like Locations, service Providers etc.., we have to manually map the data or is there any concurrent programe in EBs?

Calculate rate on day basis
Hi All,
I have below requirement.
I need to calculate the shipment rate based on DAY wise.
Ex:
Suppose client charging 100 USD per day.
For that if I am taking the rate basis as 'SHIPMENT TOTAL TRANSIT TIME' and per day 100 USD.
Lets take, Shipment transit time is 1Day 4 Hours.
Then with the above rate basis, OTM charging the shipment cost as like below.
100 + (100 * 4/24) = 100 + 16.6 = 116.6 USD.
But client expected like, though the second day is partially completed, he will treat it as a full day.
As per the client expectation, OTM should calculate the shipment cost as,
Shipment transit time is 1Day 4 Hours => 1 Day + 1 Day => 100 + 100 = 200 USD.
That means it is going by day wise.
Please help me how to configure this.
