Hi All,
We are upgrading from OTM 6.1.7 to 6.3.3
We were able to install and upgrade OTM to 6.3.3 but when we checked the mviews in ROD, those were empty.
The link given in this email is considered as the reference document for ROD upgrade. (Doc ID 1351528.1)
https://support.oracle.com/epmos/fac...1axkbp4y5n_120
It has sql scripts that we executed as part of ROD setup. Please find below issue description that we observed after ROD upgrade
Description On April 21st we upgraded ROD by referencing sql scripts given in Doc ID 1351528.1. After upgrade as part of validation we tried to query
few materialized views like shipment, order_release and voucher as they were having data prior to refresh. On validation we found that materialized views were empty.
Assuming 300,000 shipments existing and if after upgrade we have no data in shipment materialized view. A full refresh will be time consuming.
Please confirm if this is expected behavior after upgrade.
Concern Materialized views are empty after upgrade. Unless refreshed, materialized view will not have latest data. Does that mean after upgrade they will loose the existing data?
Assuming 300,000 shipments existing and if after upgrade we have no data in shipment materialized view. A full refresh will be time consuming.
Please confirm if this is expected behavior after upgrade or what could be a workaround to handle it.
