Total Weighted Cost in OTM

Do you know what is weighted cost in otm.
In Driver Work Invoice you can see two columns First - Total Actual Cost and another is Total Weighted Cost.

My question is what is the purpose of this Total Weighted Cost.
While Assign Driver, Assign Equipment it comes up with Show more option.

Within help of otm it gives more information on Weighted Cost Detail
