Scheduled report output on email

Hi

We are working on 6.1 version of OTM and created a custom report. when schedule the report sends out a mail. The mail contains a link, on clicking which the report can be viewed.

But the problem is, while the reports are opening smoothly in Internet Explorer 9, they are getting stuck in IE 8 at 'Connecting...' status and all that can be seen is a blank page.

Please confirm if there is any kind of dependancy on IE version for this Viewing Report output through Scheduling functionality
