Can linked queries be used to trigger the creation of a single BI publisher report multiple times by having a user enter a single parameter on an entry screen? Each report is the same format, but contains different data.
For example: we have shipments with multiple stops. We want the user to enter a shipmentGID and have BI publisher automatically generate a custom BOL report for each pickup/delivery location. The reports can be generated in one RTF/PDF document or multiple ones.
This would be for our custom BOL report.
I was thinking of creating linked queries where the parent query returns the stop information used as parameters in the child query. When 2 stops are returned by the parent query, 2 separate reports would be run.
