Question regarding using mixed THU..(rainbow pallet)

Hi all,

I'm currently facing an issue and I haven't found a feasible solution, hope you can help me out.

The main topic is about mixed THU's and the impact on the ship unit creation on any OR.

By business requeriment, I need to create ship units based on Ti-Hi defined at packaged item level.

First I need to "fill up" on complete pallets for every Release line using a regular THU ("PALLET" with "ON" setup) and THEN use mixed freight THU (defined as "IN" on the ship unit specification) if any packages are left after the full pallets are built.

My question basically is , can OTM replicate this scenario? First using Ti-Hi rules and if some remaining quantities are left, proceed with building the rainbow pallet (with just weight and volume parameters as Ti-Hi is obviously not supported here).

Because the result I'm currently getting is the creation of ship units based completely on one of the THUs , either the one with defined as PALLET or the other defined as MIXED PALLET, when the desired result is a mixture of both THU's.

I've already configured the Order configuration with the "Allow mixed freight" , and also the Destination location role with the same checkbox set to on. My guess is there is somenthing that I'm missing in the Location setup regarding the THU profile , but I haven't found yet a reliable source for information so I guess if anyone around here has any idea that could help me out.
