OTM 6.4 WebLogic 12.1.3 issues

I've been working on installing OTM 6.4 with Fusion Infrastructure 12.1.3.0.0, and have not been able to get the WebLogic and HTTP server components to play well together.

WebLogic and HTTP server are installed as a "collocated" system on one Applications server node. Both systems share the $Middleware_home file system.

HTTP Server will start as expected using the webserver/glogweb-wl script. When starting WebLogic using the appserver/glogapp-wl script, I get errors on securing the gc3web-otm63app02.lok file. It seems both HTTP server and WebLogic server want to grab the same lock file.

If I shut down the HTTP server and start WebLogic, the .lok file issue goes away but I am then hit with WebLogic "system" user authentication errors (boot.properties is not valid), which looks like an old bug from 6.3.x that has not been fixed in 6.4.

Using the standard WebLogic startup commands (not the OTM seeded glogapp-wl script) allows WebLogic to start up with no problems (no boot.properties issues reported).

Has anyone else run into either of these issues?

I don't even want to start on issues I've encountered trying to do a split node Apps tier (WebLogic on one server, HTTP on another)...:(

Thanks,
Paul S.
