Description
General Summary:
Serve as subject matter design expert consulting with various Business Units, Business Analysts, and Project Teams associated to the Oracle OTM platform. Help to create and design systems to meet business requirements after translating the business requirements into technical specifications.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and coordination to the technical analyst group in the design and maintenance of Oracle OTM.
- Successfully perform work and make technical decisions independently with a great deal of latitude.
- Interact with Business Analysts to help determine business requirements (new development) and find out specific business needs and requirements. Determine the best technical solution to meet requirements. Propose and evaluate alternatives to balance cost, performance and efficiency.
- Draw specifications for development team; Test system/solutions and determine if they function as expected.
- Continue to troubleshoot, document and maintain the OTM solution for FDS.
- Act as a line of defense when application/systems are not functioning properly; Help explain to the business any issues with the application/system and what was done to correct the issue.
