Activity Time Definitions

Scenario:
We currently have an automation agent that inserts a 45 minute handling activity time onto locations as they are newly generated in OTM. The handling time is designed to take into account the time it takes to load or unload at the site.

Issue:

We just brought up a new planning group made up of 15 sites. 6 of the sites are unique, in that their shipments are made up of 10 + orders as opposed to 1 order. Because the unload time defaults to 45 minutes, OTM is calculting 450 minutes worth of unload time on a single shipment when in actuality the light orders only take 10 minutes to unload.

Possible solutions:

• create a new activity time definition for 10 minutes. Update all of the locations who have been on an order with one of the unique source locaitons with the new activity time.
• Update the order creation logic in the integration level to apply a 10 minute activity time to the destination locaiton when the source is equal to one of the unique sites

The issue with both of these solutions is that it does not account for desitination locations in which we have more than 1 source location shipping to that location.
