Is there a setting or parameter value that dictates shipment planning to consider weighted cost instead of total cost for rate hierarchy? I am not sure what's missing but this seems not working for us in 6.2.
Currently when there are multiple rates on a particular lane, during shipment planning the rate record is selected based on total cost not weighted cost.
For e.g. for a shipment- Rate1 with Total cost=$600, weighted cost=$10,600 (rate quality with flat adjustment value of $10,000) and Rate2: Total Cost=$700 and Weighted Cost=$700 there is no rate quality on this rate record- we need shipment planned with RATE2 but currently system is planning with RATE1.
We have rates in the system, with a "rate quality" defined with a very high "flat adjustment" value giving a very high weighted cost vs. total cost for a shipment.
