We are on OTM 6.2.6 and we have some rates which using 2 smaller trucks is cheaper than 1 single bigger truck.
For e.g.
The buy rate is per shipment basis
20T 2000
10T 800
5T 700
Our expected planning result should be 2 X 10T as the shipment cost is 1600 in total (cheapest) but somehow OTM will actually plan to 20T instead of the 2 smaller trucks.
We are using 3D load configuration which comes with oriented being configured where the ship unit can only rotate at the axis-Y (cannot be flipped upside down).
We are also setting the ship unit with maximum stacking index.
To those who are curious, you might think because of the above ship unit config that cause that the ship unit not able to fit in the 2 smaller trucks. In face, we actually proof that it is wrong by constraining the equipment group to the 10T truck.
And it planned into 2 X 10T successfully.
Anyone has any idea what has gone wrong? Could it be the planning parameter?
