Retrival of data from archival schema

Can anybody suggest the ways to retrive the data (order release/ shipment/ invoice) from OTM ARCHIVE schema? Like if we get any inquiry on older invoice which has been archived, how do I make it available back again?

Is it a good way to bring the whole object and related data back to GLOGOWNER schema or it should be just queried against the ARCHIVE schema?
