Location Latitude and Longitude

Fellow OTMers,

I am creating new locations for other country than USA or CAN. I have checked the GEO_POSTAL_POINT does not have postal codes for new locations with Lat and Long data. I would request somebody to validate my understanding:

1. One can either update Lat/Long data for required postal code and country via Shipment Management -> Power Data -> Geography -> Postal Code Latitude/Longitude (by log in as DBA.ADMIN) in public domain. Once that is complete I can run "Update Location's Lat/Long" process to update for missing location.

2. Other ways would be to upload CSV for GEO_POSTAL_POINT table with required data and then run "Update Location's Lat/Long" process.

I understand that one can also configure external engine to get lat/long values. However, in my case there are only few locations so above outlined manual process should work.

OTM already have time zone details based on country and city. So I would not have to update those in database.

Am I missing any set up steps. Would somebody validate my understanding?
